Deaf Chefs Learning Vegan Cuisine

<< Objectives >>The primary reason for the preparation of this project is to contribute to the reduction of carbon footprint in food production, to sustainable food production studies and to the protection of water resources. In addition, in line with the changing needs of the gastronomy sector, we aim to provide hearing impaired people with professional skills that will make it easier for them to find a new or better job. We will provide this with the learning program and learning materials we will prepare.<< Implementation >>In the first stage of our project, a platform will be prepared for the hearing impaired who want to improve themselves in the field of vegan cuisine. In the next stage of the project, a previously unavailable learning program will be developed in our country and throughout Europe, including the basics, techniques and recipes of vegan cuisine from different countries. Then, distance education materials will be prepared in sign language for this learning program.<< Results >>Our project is dedicated to providing new vocational training opportunities for hearing-impaired individuals with limited communication skills and to formulating sustainable food policies.
