"<< Background >>The ""EU Digital AGRO-WomENtrepreneurs"" project was developed to address the challenges faced by women living in rural areas, who often experience digital exclusion, limited access to education, and barriers to entrepreneurship. Although women represent a significant part of the rural workforce, they are underrepresented among farm managers and business owners. Many rural women work informally, without recognition or sufficient support. Our project aimed to reduce these inequalities by empowering women through the development of entrepreneurial and digital skills, with a special focus on sustainable agriculture and green entrepreneurship. We intended to create opportunities for women to build digital competences, promote their active participation in the economy, and encourage sustainable business initiatives. By improving access to innovative learning methods and supporting women’s leadership, the project contributed directly to the European strategies for inclusion, gender equality, the green transition, and digital transformation.<< Objectives >>The main objective of the ""EU Digital AGRO-WomENtrepreneurs"" project was to empower rural women by enhancing their skills in digital entrepreneurship, sustainable agriculture, and leadership. We aimed to foster entrepreneurial mindsets among women living in rural areas, encouraging them to actively participate in the digital economy and green transition. Specifically, the project sought to provide innovative training programs that would develop digital competences, agro-ecological literacy, and entrepreneurial capacities among rural women and adult educators. Through transnational cooperation, we aimed to exchange good practices, strengthen the professional profiles of adult trainers, and create practical resources such as a handbook to support women's entrepreneurial journeys. By the end of the project, we intended to improve the employability, social inclusion, and economic participation of rural women, while promoting broader EU priorities linked to gender equality, environmental sustainability, and digital innovation.<< Implementation >>The ""EU Digital AGRO-WomENtrepreneurs"" project was implemented through a series of structured international and local activities. Three Learning, Teaching, and Training Activities (LTTs) were organized: the first in Germany focused on project management and cooperation strategies; the second in Poland on digital entrepreneurship and marketing skills; and the third in Türkiye on agro-ecological literacy and sustainable farming practices. Each partner also conducted local training sessions, reaching rural women and adult educators, to develop skills in digital literacy, green entrepreneurship, and leadership. Alongside the trainings, the consortium created a Handbook for Digital Agro-Entrepreneurship, gathering best practices, methodologies, and success stories. Dissemination activities, including social media campaigns and local events, ensured visibility and encouraged broader participation. Project coordination was maintained through regular online meetings, progress reviews, and joint evaluations, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of all activities.<< Results >>The ""EU Digital AGRO-WomENtrepreneurs"" project produced several key outputs and achieved tangible results. Three international training activities were successfully organized, focusing on project management, digital entrepreneurship, and agro-ecological literacy. Each partner delivered local workshops that reached rural women and adult educators, strengthening their digital skills, entrepreneurial capacities, and sustainable agriculture knowledge. A comprehensive Handbook for Digital Agro-Entrepreneurship was developed, containing training methodologies, success stories, and practical tools for future use. The project fostered improved self-confidence, leadership, and economic participation among women participants. Additionally, strong partnerships were built across Germany, Poland, and Türkiye, creating a foundation for future collaboration. The project also enhanced visibility and awareness about the importance of supporting rural women through targeted dissemination activities at local, national, and European levels."
