<< Background >>The association Musiques de l'ébène wanted to create links both at the local level (in the territory of the Nord Côte-d'Or which is classified as hyper-rural) and at the European level in order to overcome the relative isolation of this territory.La Calle Baila wanted to develop partnerships on a European scale and to progressively join new networks of collective artistic practices, in order to work for the inclusion within Europe of a socially and culturally marginalized audience (group of Roma women). The needs identified in a common way for both structures were:1) for the artists: to acquire new pedagogical skills, to develop capacities of adaptation to new contexts of intervention, to network with the artistic community on a European scale;2) for the administrative/social staff: to acquire new technical skills: setting up and managing European projects, network development.<< Objectives >>The project aimed to:- constitute a first step of cooperation and development of project management skills on a European scale;- improve the quality of the pedagogical actions of the artists towards its adult audience;- involve a disadvantaged public (rural population and Roma population);- bring a European dimension to the local territories concerned, in this case, the Nord Côte-d'Or in France and the district of Cabanyal in Valencia, Spain.<< Implementation >>A programme of actions shared between the two partner structures took place from May 2022 to March 2023: two transnational meetings of exchange of practices and transfer of artistic, cultural and pedagogical knowledge were held, for one, in Pantin (France), for the other in Valencia (Spain); four workshops of multidisciplinary collective artistic practices (2 conducted in Montigny-sur-Aube, in the Nord Côte-d'Or and 2 conducted in Valencia, Spain); administrative management and implementation activities (coordination, logistics, assessment and evaluation); and finally, communication activities and dissemination of results.<< Results >>The concrete achievements were:- four workshops of collective multidisciplinary artistic practices (2 conducted in Montigny-sur-Aube, in the Nord Côte-d'Or and 2 conducted in Valencia, in Spain),- a video available in three languages (French, Spanish and English),- an educational booklet available in three languages (French, Spanish and English). The results were: the improvement of the quality of the educational actions of the artists, by nourishing the imagination and by encouraging the initiative and the experimentation; a development of the competences in application and management of European projects; the participation of a disadvantaged audience in an artistic and cultural proposal; an apprehension of the European cultural diversity; a presence of Europe closer to the territories and the citizens.
