"<< Background >>All partner schools observed low levels of knowledge about water related issues among their students. The research carried out before applying for the project showed their little knowledge among about water sources and resources and little awareness of the need to save water or what happens with it before and after it is utilised by humans. Being concerned about such attitudes among the students, partner school's management decided to take action and start an international cooperation in order to educate their students about the importance of water in human life and in nature and in this way increase their awareness within that topic. They agreed on using STEAM during project implementation and after it in order to develop positive attitudes towards the water and environmental protection during the lessons of various school subjects and in outdoor activities. Thus they intended to promote a responsible attitude and behaviour about preservation and conservation of water. They also sought for improvement of their educational offers and their students' achievements as well as for solutions to their problems eg. lower students' interest and achievement in STEAM subjects, increase involvement of lower opportuninties students. << Objectives >>The main objectives of the project were to • increase the awareness of 60 students from partner schools about the role of water in everyday life and for society and the need to reduce its waste,• increase by 50% the frequency of STEAM classes during the year, presenting a positive attitude towards water protection in various subjects and outside school (outdoor activities) in all partner schools,• Increase the knowledge of 60 pupils from partner schools about some of the regulations governing water management (quality standards, rules for its application) and about water resources in Europe• Develop a water and environment-friendly approach through classroom and outdoor activities among 65 pupils from partner schools.The non-measurable objectives of the project included:• promotion of a new responsible attitude and behaviour of all project participants in the field of environmental and water protection• increasing the importance of partner schools in their local environment,• providing new knowledge on environmental issues related to water• development of teacher pedagogy in the field of STEAM subjects• increase in students' creativity in the field of STEAM topics, with particular emphasis on music.<< Implementation >>All activities planned in the project were implemented. The partners, working locally, carried out educational activities on the role of water in the environment and human life. They carried out activities consisting in collecting information, developing presentations in accordance with the subject of planned international activities and celebrations of environmental days related to water protection. They established the so-called ""eco-gardens"" in the schools’ premises.Each partner, in accordance with the application, carried out activities within the mobility activities, either by hosting representatives of partner schools and preparing planned educational activities, or by delegating their representatives. In Romania - topics related to water sources in partner countries and creation of the lyrics of the project song promoting the importance of water. In Poland, participants could directly experience and observe the benefits of water and its management. Melodic line of the project song was created. In Turkiye, activities to show the ways and importance of water protection. Recorded the final version of the project song (soundtrack and video). The results were disseminated in various media (www, e-Twinning, FB), direct contacts.<< Results >>The awareness of 60 students from partner schools about the role of water in everyday life and for society and the need to reduce its waste was increased, which is visible in the results of tests carried out on the kahoot platform.The same test shows a significant increase in knowledge about certain water regulations (quality standards, rules for its application) and about water resources in Europe.Results: Poland - total correct answers - 30,45 % at the beginning and 72,14 % at the end. Total increase 41,69 %Turkiye - total correct answers - 26,34 % at the beginning and 53,10% at the end. Total increase 26,76 %Romania - total correct answers - 37,00 % at the beginning and 67,24 % at the end. Total increase 30,24 %PPT presentations were created on water resources in partner countries (3), the benefits we have from water in partner countries (3), protection of water resources in partner countries (3). The students created brochures and posters summarizing the above topics at the end of each activity and on the topics of the celebrated environmental days dedicated to water.A song promoting the importance of water in our lives ""From springs to Seas"" was created and record.
