Successful support for young people

<< Background >>The aim and driving motivation of both organisations is to reach and effectively support groups of disadvantaged young people—those with fewer chances to overcome external barriers and their own limitations—by teaching them to recognise their strengths and showing them how to learn and grow so they can find their place in the labour market.Changes unfolding in labour markets—such as digitisation, automation, an accelerating work pace, rising employer expectations regarding employees’ skills, productivity, efficiency and engagement, the demand for strong foreign-language proficiency and willingness to be mobile, remote work, and the emergence of new professions—form a formidable barrier for young people at risk of social exclusion, NEET youth, and young people from migrant backgrounds. The rapid development of AI threatens existing jobs but also creates opportunities for new ones.In this context, the project met the partners’ needs, they could learn from one another because they serve the same target group, and their different approaches to identical challenges proved highly valuable. The exchange of experience and know-how translated into greater staff competence and improved effectiveness and quality of the partners’ work.<< Objectives >>MAIN GOALThe main goal of the project was to exchange experiences and working methods aimed at increasing the employability and social inclusion of young people aged 18–30, with a particular focus on NEET youth, migrants, and those at risk of social exclusion. Through this, the project sought to enhance the effectiveness and quality of the partner organisations’ work with young people.SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES1. To involve new participants (organisations and individuals) in the Erasmus+ KA210-YOU programme.2. To facilitate the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and know-how between PROAKTYWNI and Formazione e Sviluppo srl (For.es) in the area of youth employability and social inclusion, particularly by:- sharing knowledge on methods for educating and developing key competences among at-risk youth, NEETs, and migrants in Poland and Italy;- exploring youth work practices in a different country, including digital methods and tools (similar challenges, different approaches to solving them), thus improving the partners’ working methods, effectiveness, and quality.3. To improve staff competences.4. To increase staff motivation.5.
