One of the essential components for a future without global warming is green Hydrogen. Green Hydrogen is a climate-neutral energy carrier that will be used for energy transportation in a future energy economy when it is produced from renewable sources. Southern Mediterranean Countries (SMC) are in need of vocational programs focusing on Green Hydrogen and its applications in mobility and industry within higher education institutions. Green hydrogen presents a significant opportunity for increasing the utilization of renewable energy and promoting environmental protection. It is imperative to swiftly develop new courses and curricula addressing Green Hydrogen to educate the younger generation on this crucial subject. Given the substantial expertise of EU countries in this domain, there is a valuable opportunity to facilitate the transfer of knowledge and experience to Southern Mediterranean countries. The purpose of this project is to bring together and strengthen cooperation between companies and HEIs through the development of courses in Innovative Green hydrogen Technologies, while taking into consideration potential climate change impacts, with adaptive learning and teaching methods. HEIs are not highly engaged with the larger society, which leads to graduates being less desirable by enterprises and companies. This can be alleviated by establishing truly collaborative relationships between HEIs and enterprises. This is one of the purposes of establishing courses for Green Hydrogen Technologies for several applications. The involvement of enterprises in the courses should be active and proactive. GREEN-H2 will also strengthen the collaboration among the region's countries by providing courses that can be adopted and implemented by all the courtiers of the region. Students from different countries of the region will have the chance to interact with each other through virtual courses.
