Four Skills for Future

"<< Background >>As institutions,we considered literacy is the ability to read and write,besides includes skills like critical thinking,listening,speaking,viewing and presenting.Literacy is very important subject for everyone because our success as a society depends on the innovation of the next generation.In this context,a partnership with a rich infrastructure consisting of primary,secondary(lower&upper) and general high schools which provides education for different age groups of all types,has been established.The five participating schools have deeply analysed their contexts(at a school and community level) to determine their needs.By taking the results of need analysis prepared and maintained by the schools management,strategic planning teams and partner schools teachers,we saw that we are weak in the below fields;The needs of the partner institutions:-lack of literacy environment to simplify the development of skills among students reading,writing,speaking&listening-lack of teachers specialized in organizing and delivering training programs for the development of literacy skillsThat's why we wanted to apply this project so on.<< Objectives >>We focused and tried to achieve these goals:The target groups for the implementation of project activities were the teachers and students aged 11 to 17.The purpose of the project was to value the literacy potential as a personal and consolidation development instrument of the key transversal skills needed for lifelong learning.
