"<< Background >>We applied for this project because culture shapes a nation's by reflecting its past, influences its present and developing its future. When a child is born into a culture, they grow up surrounded by its concepts, traditions, language, religion. These aspects greatly influence the child's view of life. Understanding a nation's culture helps understand human nature. Improving culture starts by raising awareness and updating a child's understanding.We emphasize cultures and the ""LEG-US"" concept, which represents diversity and richness. In education, these values can be taught to students and teachers. PArticipants learned to live peacefully and gain these values. Schools provided a safe space to learn respect for diversity and found new opportunities for lifelong experiences.The four participating schools have closely examined their communities to identify their needs:- There is a lack of awareness about the importance of cultural, community and school values.- They need to develop the values, skills and attitudes essential for democratic citizenship in a multicultural and globalized world.- Teachers should create new learning methods.<< Objectives >>We focused on and tried to achieve these goals:- facilitated the sharing of effective and innovative practices and experiences among European schools through the creation of teaching materials aimed at enhancing students' knowledge of cultural heritage.- encouraged the mobility of students and teachers to different schools to raise awareness of how European values and issues of diversity are addressed in various educational systems.- develop students' research skills, literacy, digital capacities, and cross-surricular skill, including critical thinking, collaboration, initiative and communication.- updated and enhanced the professional competencies of teachers in relation to methodologies, dynamics and activities that foster an understanding of common humanity culture, enhancing their knowledge and skills for designing and organizing lessons and activities that promote awareness of multicultural issues among students.<< Implementation >>We implemented the following activities:- enhanced students' language proficiency / development of linguistic skills: boosted self-assurance, overcoming language obstacles- students' engagement in project-based activities: crafted a drama script, participated in games and quizzes related to the characters and artworks, produced a short film and set up a blog.- enhancement of student's cultural awareness- staged a play focused on significant individuals- disigned a logo- made presentations about an extraordinary protagonist (""heroes"")- made a mini-lesson<< Results >>These are the results of the projects:- project logo- a drama stage performance / play- a drawing of our cultural protagonists- project blog- project song- mini lesson- presentations of cultural protagonists"
