MeWell: Art Mediation for Knowledge, Cultural Participation and Wellbeing

<< Objectives >>The MeWell project aims to increase the competencies of educators, this would inactivate the cultural and social participation of 50+ adults and seniors by applying art mediation methods and improving the quality and accessibility of non-formal education in art and culture institutions. MeWell aspires to create a lasting impact on the cultural sector's approach to adult education, ensuring that learners of all ages have the opportunity to engage actively in culture and enjoy art.<< Implementation >>The GUIDELINES – a methodological tool for non-formal educators based on applying art mediation techniques in adult education through cultural participation – will be created. The E-PLATFORM – ART MEDIATION HUB, will be created as a learning platform for adult education staff, and educators. Together with other activities, the TRAINING will be organised for adult education specialists, researchers & adult education specialists, and volunteers from local associated partners will be invited.<< Results >>MeWell will present an innovative learning methodology and e-platform for art mediation techniques specifically addressing the needs of 50+ adults and seniors, by improving life-long learning, inclusion, and well-being through active cultural participation. Non-formal education staff in cultural institutions improve their teaching competencies by applying art mediation. Partners will strengthen ties with local adult education communities, and gain international experience.
