<< Background >>The Academy4Business (A4B) project was launched to address pressing challenges in connecting academia with the business sector through innovative learning approaches. It aimed to bridge the gap by promoting cooperation and knowledge exchange, addressing the increasing demand for EdTech solutions and entrepreneurial skill development, particularly for underrepresented sectors like small businesses and start-ups.The project responded to challenges such as limited collaboration between academic research and business applications, a lack of entrepreneurial competencies among students, and unequal access to high-quality digital education tools. By implementing A4B, the consortium sought to provide transformative educational experiences that integrate entrepreneurial and scientific mindsets while aligning with broader goals of digital transformation and innovation in education. These efforts contribute to fostering resilient and future-ready professionals, reinforcing the importance of interdisciplinary learning.<< Objectives >>The A4B project pursued three core objectives. First, it aimed to enhance international collaboration skills among students, educators, and business professionals by fostering interdisciplinary and cross-border cooperation. Second, it sought to design, co-develop, and pilot a blended learning course that integrates EdTech innovation and entrepreneurial mindsets, combining academic rigor with practical business needs. Third, the project aimed to bridge the gap between academia and business by promoting reciprocal knowledge transfer, preparing future entrepreneurs, and aligning educational outputs with market demands. These objectives were closely aligned with European priorities, emphasizing innovative teaching practices and addressing digital transformation by building digital readiness, resilience, and capacity. The project also aspired to create a sustainable, scalable model for education-business collaboration, ensuring long-term impact and value.<< Implementation >>The A4B project implemented several strategic activities. Regular monthly online consortium meetings and biannual in-person gatherings ensured effective coordination and collaborative design of outputs. Nine interactive webinars engaged diverse audiences, complemented by three on-site workshops during the A4B Summer and Winter Schools. These workshops provided immersive, hands-on learning for students and professionals, including mentoring by university researchers and EdTech companies to support EdTech innovation in international teams. A blended course was co-developed and piloted using a design-thinking approach, incorporating iterative feedback. Additionally, digital learning materials and guidelines were created to ensure sustainability and accessibility. Hybrid multiplier events in each partner country showcased results, encouraged stakeholder engagement, and amplified impact. Collectively, these activities fostered collaboration, reciprocal knowledge transfer, and entrepreneurship and EdTech skills development.<< Results >>The A4B project delivered several significant outputs and results. The key achievement was the development and pilot testing of a 6 ECTS blended course designed to foster entrepreneurial and scientific mindsets in the EdTech sector. This course was supported by a comprehensive guidelines for replication and scalability. The project also organized nine online webinars and three intensive physical workshops, engaging over 200 participants. Feedback from these activities was utilized to refine the course content and materials. As part of the mentoring process, a Mentor Book was created, capturing key insights and best practices from the project's mentoring sessions to guide future initiatives..Hybrid multiplier events in each partner country attracted more than 260 stakeholders, raising awareness and encouraging adoption of the project’s outputs. Additionally, the project developed open-access digital learning resources, which are now available on the A4B website and the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform. These outputs not only fulfilled the project’s objectives but also established a framework for long-term impact, with partner institutions committing to embedding the course in their curricula.
