<< Objectives >>The project is designed to enhance the German language proficiency of adults within the EU by developing a new multilingual e-learning course tailored for self-directed learning. This resource also serves as valuable supplementary material for language instructors teaching German. A particularly critical special objective of the project is to offer the courses in the native languages of users, ensuring that those with limited English proficiency are not disadvantaged in their learning journey.<< Implementation >>The project is fundamentally focused on the creation of OER, with the bulk of its endeavors dedicated to developmental objectives. Collaboration among partner organizations will be directed towards the creation of the courses, encompassing illustrations, interactive exercises, and more. The learning portal for German will undergo testing with external users, including both teachers and learners, alongside extensive dissemination efforts within the partner countries and through online platforms.<< Results >>The primary outcome of the project is a technologically enhanced deutsch.info platform, featuring a new course for learning the German language at the A2 level. This course is grounded in an innovative methodology, specifically designed for self-directed adult learners. It will be accessible in 21 languages and will focus on personalized learning experiences. Moreover, the project is committed to developing OER intended for widespread use, extending well beyond the scope of the partnership.
