<< Background >>The CAN DO CARDS project was planned with all partners in the times of the COVID crisis to assist overcoming the harsh effects of the crisis, especially for the vulnerable and disadvantaged groups of our societies who likely payed disproportionate costs. CanDo CARDs has been conceived with the aim of re-directing these groups towards the heart of social life through notions of EU citizenship and civic education. To do so we believe that educators in the social field (trainers, social workers, teachers, professionals working with NEETs, migrants etc.) need to be empowered with effective tools to become the drivers for positive change – they need to become CHANGE AGENTS (CAs). Our project seeks to empower CAs and allow them to play a role in avoiding the pandemic to have a socially structured impact. Change Agents will be equipped with tools that empower disadvantaged people with creative and innovative skills and competences which reinforce their resilience and increasetheir European awareness and civic engagement.<< Objectives >>Creative and emotional skills allow CA to find new inventive resilience strategies, better cope with crisis situations and societal challenges as well as raise their critical thinking and active citizenship. It also allows CA to act more effectively both individually and in a group, it encourages cohesion and the attainment of common goals without losing respect for one-another. The participatory, process-oriented and ressourceoriented CAN DO approach is meant o be made accessible for multipliers in the filed of civic, non-formal education. We believe that educators in the social field need to be empowered with effective tools to become the drivers for positive change. Change Agents will be equipped with tools that empower disadvantaged people with creative and innovative skills and competences which reinforce their resilience and increase their civic engagement. CDC was based on Pestalozzi’s theory of learning through hearth, head and hand, respectively represented by three specific educational methods:(1) learning democracy (2) intercultural competences (3) participation These topics were the basis of all CDC activities: TPMs, LTTAs, PRs and MEs. << Implementation >>The CanDo CARDs project was an ambitious and complex project with four concrete intellectual outputs generated by the close cooperation and integrated working between diverse partners and stakeholders from 5 countries. The projects activities were directly connected to the results to be achieved during the project lifetime. In the CanDoCARDs project the LTTAs are the core element for the development of the project results. The purpose of these meetings is to train, professionalize andempower the CHANGE AGENTS. The Learning Training Activities are based on our key concepts: Participative and process-oriented approach and Empowerment. Based on and accompanied by the LTTAs the PR were produced: Films and Broshures on the topics of the project: (1) learning democracy, (2) intercultural competences, (3) participation. Thus the results of the LTTAs were made accessible for multipliers of a broasder audiance. The dissemination o the project results was accompanied by a awereness raising compain through the dissemination chanels of the partners and the MEs held in each partner countries. << Results >>The CDC project has several results. 4 TPMs for management and coordination held in Spain, Turkey, Germany and Sweden3 LTTA meetings held in Spain, Turkey and again Spain3 Project Results(1) Learning democracy: Broshure and film(2) intercultural competences: Broshure and film(3) participation: Broshure and film
