Librerie indipendenti, (dis)abilità e neurodivergenza: un percorso IFP per piccoli librai e operatori socioculturali sulla lettura accessibile e sull'imprenditoria a impatto sociale

<< Objectives >>The project aims to train booksellers, small independent bookstores, and other socio-cultural operators involved in promoting reading and book consumption, providing them with skills in accessibility and inclusion for neurodivergent individuals. The primary objective is to enable the bookselling sector to develop reading support pathways for (dis)abled users while simultaneously strengthening the resilience and competitiveness of their bookstores.<< Implementation >>The project will implement a digital VET program for small booksellers on the inclusion of cognitive (dis)ability in reading, the design of regular social initiatives to engage a neurodivergent audience, and the models and opportunities of ethical SMEs. It will also implement focus groups and virtual mobility activities to foster the active participation of (dis)abled individuals, along with a digital self-learning resource to further disseminate the project's themes at the European level.<< Results >>The project results will enhance the role of booksellers, which remains largely unrecognized in the VET sector, while also increasing the circulation of inclusive skills to support and raise awareness of neurodivergence. These results will include: 1. a digital, open, accessible, and multilingual VET program 2. a digital archive to promote self-learning and reach new target groups and 3. a virtual mobility initiative focused on the empowerment and participation of neurodivergent individuals.
