GreenHorizon: Mastering pedagogical design to shape sustainability education

"<< Objectives >>GreenHorizon aims to establish interregional cooperation between organizations from Portugal and Spain that will provide partner organizations and Youth Workers (YW) with the capacity to design new pedagogical methods and non-formal learning (NFL) activities to be used with youth groups to work on the future-oriented skills needed to tackle problems or take advantage of opportunities linked with sustainability in the context of Galicia-North Portugal Euroregion and beyond.<< Implementation >>The main activities to implement are:-Comparative research on challenges and opportunities linked with sustainability in the Euroregion-Selection of most relevant green competencies for this context-Training consortium teams on pedagogical design-NFL resources development and toolkit preparation-Pilot test of the resources involving 20 Spanish-Portuguese youngsters-Three Multiplier Events in Universities<< Results >>We expect to:-Upskill YWs of the consortium organizations in pedagogical design methodologies-Contribute with innovative resources to prepare YWs and education professionals as well as the future generations for the green transition using the ""GreenComp framework""-Boost innovation among actors working in education for sustainability-Promote the internationalization of education in Galicia-North Portugal Euroregion"
