Building the European Zero Waste Academy 2

<< Objectives >>Our general objective is to contribute to a strong and professional European network of green experts in the field of zero waste by further developing the European Zero Waste Academy.Specific objectives:1) A high-quality step-by-step learning journey for zero waste professionals in Europe, from Zero Waste Ambassador to Certification Auditor2) A harmonised competence certification system for zero waste professionals<< Implementation >>- Transforming MiZA website into user-friendly ZW Academy- Adding and testing 3 new ZW online courses, updating the existing ones in TrainerCentral platform- 3 on-site ZW City and Business Auditor trainings (Slovenia, Ukraine, Estonia)- Updating ZW Training Handbook- Aligning the certification of all the current ZW courses, developing framework for zero waste skills certification- 4 online community building events for our learners and experts- 3 networking events (Lviv, Brussels, Tallinn)<< Results >>45 participants in the on-site ZW Auditor trainings and 60 participants in the new online courses,5 new chapters to the ZW Handbook and 1000 downloads of the updated version,25 certifications of the competences,60 participants in the online community building events and 180 people on-site networking events.We expect to strengthen career opportunities for environmental enthusiasts to grow into recognised and certified professionals and therefore contribute to the goals of the EU’s Green Deal.
