"<< Background >>Czech Chamber of commerce (HKCR) and Slovak National VET Indtitute (ŠIOV) are completely different types of organisations. However, both play an important role in their respective countries in promoting the quality of vocational education. ŠIOV has been the national coordinator of Skills Slovakia continuously since 2008. The HKCR renewed its membership in 2020 and became the national coordinator of Czech Skills. Through the development of the Czech Skills and Skills Slovakia platforms and the implementation of related project activities, the partner organisations have contributed to their common needs, namely:- to ensure the opportunity to present the professional excellence on national and international level, - to foster the transfer of technological innovation into VET,- to contribute to the iactive involvement of professionals and company experts into VET- to validate the content and of vocational qualifications, to ensure thel needs of employers and labour market needss - to promote professional excellence and vocational training strategies through to increase the awareness and attractiveness of VET and to contribute to improving the quality of VET in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.<< Objectives >>Czech Republic has not yet had an instrument or platform for active promotion of the VET importance at national and international level, to strengthen forms of cooperation and at the same time present the level of skills and professional mastery of professionals from the whole Czech Republic at national and European level across occupations. The aim of this project was to setup conditions for a sustainable operation of the National Centre of Czech Skills, using Slovak experience, and at the same time to identify activities to strengthen and develop the existing Slovak national platform Skills Slovakia.Through the project activities ""Today in VET, tomorrow in practice! "", both project partners focused in particular on:1. strengthening their professional capacities in the field of VET through the national platforms Czech Skills and Skills Slovakia, 2. deepening international cooperation in involving experts in the activities of Czech Skills and Skills Slovakia,3. presenting the professional skills and excellence to promote the Czech Republic and Slovakia at national and international VET competitions, including support in securing the participation in Euroskills 2023.<< Implementation >>The project included the implementation of 3 main activities: •A1 Forcing the involvement and capacity of partner organisations in the field of VET •A2 Preparation and involvement of experts in Czech Skills/Skills Slovakia events •A3 Organisational and technical support and promotion of Czech Skills/Skills Slovakia/Euroskills.<< Results >>Results A1 - Methodology1.
