Shaping The Engineers’ Personal&Interpersonal Skills for Enterprises&Universities

"<< Objectives >>The main objective of the project STEPS4EU is to improve the performance and the overall success in delivering engineering projects all over EU, enhancing transversal competencies of professional engineers and engineering students and, consequently, the engineering and technical personnel employed by enterprises all over EU and being project managers or project team members of those engineering projects.<< Implementation >>The project consists of three major activity groups. WP2: Definition of the competency baseline and investigation on new competencies; methodologies: survey and focus groups analysis. WP3: drafting a curriculum for filling competence gaps; methodology: survey. WP4: Developing the Handbook and the ""knowledge capsules""; methodology: training and teaching experimental classes.<< Results >>The project will produce 4 main results: - at the end of WP2, the ""Report of the overall situation of the baseline competencies in EU with a section for each country"". At the end of WP3, the ""Report on the gaps detected and definition of curriculum needed to fill the gap"". At the end of WP4, the ""Handbook on new perspective Engineers curricula, and how to implement it, to be applied to all EU countries"" plus ""Knowledge capsules"". It will ultimately improve project delivery across EU."
