"<< Background >>In our opinion, the Erasmus+ project was an opportunity for development for the entire institution. We gained our first experience during the implementation of an earlier project with the Czech organization Karvina 2000, in which we were a partner. This experience showed us the potential of such cooperation. Activities in the ""Youth Canvas"" project and close cooperation with young people and more in-depth observation of them made us realize that young people need to systematize their knowledge about the world of new media and become aware of certain areas related to them (potentials and threats). This, the desire to show new trends in artistic activities related to the use of technology and the need to activate young people coming from environments undergoing and still feeling the effects of social transformations (liquidation or transformation of industrial plants, mines) prompted us to develop a joint project ""Education; Piece; Technology” – Be e-smart.<< Objectives >>Our project was intended to increase young people's competences through artistic activities using and in the context of digital activities. The aim was also to increase their involvement in social life, greater initiative, and civic awareness - through the development of soft skills. Promoting creativity and artistic expression - by increasing digital competences used in art. The aim was also to deepen cooperation between partner organizations and increase the team's skills in the field of youth work.<< Implementation >>We have completed all the modules planned in our application. The project began with a Kick off meeting in Chorzów, where we once again outlined in detail our goals, methods of achieving them, mutual expectations and principles of cooperation, as well as potential risks that may arise. The next block of activities was conducted by an organization from the Czech Republic - soft skills workshops on February 26-29, 2024 in Karvin (Reka). The participants got to know each other, integrated, but also worked on their social competences. On April 10-14, 2024, we held digital competence workshops in Chorzów. Participants learned how to use new technologies in civic activities. The longer module concerned the use of AR technology in art and the preparation of one's own test works in this technique. In May (May 17-19), activities carried out in Karvina were carried out in cooperation with local artists, youth groups from both countries. A repetition of this activity was the June (6-8/06) meeting of young people with Chorzów artists. During these activities, young people cooperated with artists and created their own multimedia works, which were later included in the exhibition. As part of the youth initiatives incubator, young people implem<< Results >>The main effect of the project is to increase the level of knowledge of our participants. We are talking here about increasing personal competences (social competences such as communication, self-awareness, teamwork skills, etc.) as well as digital competences (increased knowledge of AR and AI technologies, greater awareness of the possibilities and threats in the digital world, ways of using technology and multimedia for pro-social activities). The result of the project is also a multimedia exhibition of participants prepared during meetings with Polish and Czech artists. The exhibition (printed in two copies) is presented in the space of Scena pod Schodami, which is a space for meetings of young people, and in Karviná in the gallery, which is a meeting place for local youth. The group of Polish youth also recorded a podcast which was a casual conversation summarizing their participation in the project (posted on the website http://radio.chck.pl/index.php/2025/01/30/podcast-99-projekt-edukacja-sztuka-technologia-erasmus/). Each side also implemented individual youth initiatives, 3 initiatives in Poland and the Czech Republic, and also held information meetings in schools and on the occasion of the presentation of the exhibition t"
