<< Background >>We wrote this project as a response to today’s issues and problems that appear in society, especially at the grass root level and where it is challenging to create an impact from the point of view of authorities, public buddies and decision makers. In this way, ComPoSe project came as a result to the needs that we have identified in the period prior to the writing phase: together with our partners we work with people, both youth workers and professionals but also young people in our communities and we noticed that the most important part is related to building a community, maintaining it for a longer period of time and creating results and useful outcomes within it.Furthermore, we noticed that the need for community engagement of youth in small communities becomes the most important need for our target group and for us, together with the need for developing the motivation and strength for youth workers and the need of learning methods and practices in working for a community and its development. These were the main starting points for us and for our partners, but with support and input from the youth workers and young people that we are collaborating with before the project implementation.<< Objectives >>Through this project we wanted to equip 33 people from 4 countries (Romania, Turkyie, Bulgaria and Italy), out of which 28 youth workers to gain and increase their professional skills, develop new tools through Coaching, creating a new range of soft skills, such as creativity, self-esteem and motivation, critical thinking, which are applicable to their target groups. The project aimed to empower 28 youth workers to better cope with their jobs by creating an interactive space for connection and learnings. One objective was related to the 5 people from the group, who develop their training and facilitating techniques by delivering activities during the project’s implementation period. Another objective was to enable 100 young people from our countries, but not only, to develop competencies that will ensure their long-term professional and career by engaging in a Community building process for them, through online and offline activities that were taking place during the 12 months, with more than 100 people attending the online workshops. Moreover, the project aim was to create the base for transnational cooperation between partners by elaborating a booklet with the non-formal tools and methods learned throughout this project.<< Implementation >>The project was an interactive scene between offline activities and meetings and online workshops and presentations. For offline activities that we implemented during the project, we can count:-a 7 days training course for 33 people coming from four countries-3 partnership meetings in the partners organizations (Izmir, Turkyie; Sofia-Bulgaria; Verona-Italy), combining more than 20 people during them.-several workshops between the partners and between the youth workers involved in the project and the local communities. -one final conference in Romania where were presented the results, the outcome and the sustainability of the project. Online activities:-several meeting online between the partners during the 12 months of implementation.-a series of 8 webinars that took place in October-December 2024 on the topics of the project, delivered by experts, by youth workers that took part in the training course and by members of the partner organizations.-a series of online dissemination of social media and website presentations of the project where we engaged with the audience and with the interested people of the project. << Results >>The results of the project are:1) A physical training course that took place in Romania in September 2024, attended by 28 youth workers, 5 young trainers and 2 senior trainers. 2) 28 youth workers have increased the professional and personal competencies in working with young people using Coaching techniques and methods, improving their soft skills 3) a group of 5 youth workers (who were co-trainers during the Training Course) have been part of the delivering of activities, which supported them to sill up their coaching techniques and working with people;- 8 online webinars delivered by specialists to more than 150 people ; the webinars provide further understanding into the topic of acquiring resilient/soft skills, while the rest will provide methods for transferring these learned skills to local youth;- several local workshops created by the youth workers for the youth who took part in the training course, with the purpose of transferability of the skills for Youth people;- one booklet with the non-formal tools and methods on resilience & soft skills: https://shorturl.at/IrMoE -strengthening of a partnership between 4 organizations from 4 different countries on methods and coaching for building communities.
