"<< Background >>The evolving job market and society have undergone significant transformations, characterized by increasing digitization, which demand heightened levels of digital skills and overall flexibility from potential employees. The project focused on the mothers, who were tightened with childcare responsibilities, and had migrant backgrounds. They face the risk of being doubly marginalized in the realm of digital competencies and the pandemic has intensified the urgency for relevant skillsets, diminishing their future job prospects. Our initiative of 6 partner organizations addressed both everyday digital literacy and job-specific competencies through tailored training products, empowering these women and future multipliers.The needs we addressed:1)digital literacy to navigate aspects of modern life effectively: accessing information, communicating, and managing daily affairs.2)job market relevance.3)empowerment and integration to actively engage in the workforce, contribute to their communities, and foster social cohesion.4)gender disparities focusing on women with children, particularly those from migrant backgrounds, who face unique challenges in balancing childcare responsibilities with professional development opportunities<< Objectives >>TG 1: Low-skilled women with refugee/migration backgrounds are empowered through tailored digital education (product 1: IO1 basic module, IO2 advanced module), enhancing their employability. A parallel program for children engagement (IO3 family module) enhanced motivation.TG 2: Identified mentor profile and individuals interested in supporting the TG 1 as volunteer ""Senior Experts"" via guiding, facilitating of motivation, self-confidence and challenges.Products Sustainability: Qualification modules are accessible in national languages of partners online (https://familylearning.eu/) and will be maintained by partners and expanded through their collaboration networks. In order to ensure the implementation of the qualification modules at a high level, a seminar for the future users and dissemination events (product IO3) were held, a learning guide (product IO2) with a toolkit (product IO2) for implementation was developed and tested. A separate set of materials on MINT experimenting for children to get acquainted with science (children module) is offered.Networking: While piloting provider networks were established and international collaboration encouraged for ongoing program optimization and reusability of the products.<< Implementation >>The draft learning materials were designed, equipment obtained and teachers found. Each country pre-assessed the needs of the target group and selected participants via an open call. After the selection the focused needs assessment helped to shape the products further. A basic module on everyday computer use was offered first to get introduced to some low-threshold professions. For those who had further digital interests, the advanced module was tailored according to their needs. For their kids, a family module was held in parallel, which included engaging experiments, so that the children and mothers learned side by side. Some countries involved elder children as mother’s mentors, some women invited their husbands to come.Elder professionals ready to share their time voluntarily were searched based on the pre-designed profile and equipped with the necessary materials and guidelines. They supported women in solving the questions and problems and in their professional orientation. Some attended the international LTTA/workshop in Italy and were supported in networking internationally.Multiple dissemination activities invited educators and potential multipliers to assess the designed materials and to employ them in their work.<< Results >>The country-specific conditions are used to test designed products/approaches and to draw conclusions. UA partner provided evaluation.For the learners: - Product 1: Module 1 Basic learning module for women ""everyday use of digital devices; M. 2 Advanced women module on basic computer use; M. 3 Family module - sustainable MINT experiments that help children and family to better understand digitally and learn together. Open webinar for women on the 2 modules to discuss internationally because of language challenges was replaced for feedback evaluation. For mentors: - Product II: M. 1 Learning unit for mentors with a completion certificate; M. 2 Teaching concept for the international workshop; International workshop for mentors in Italy for exchange and discussion of the learning support. M. 3 Tool for better communication between participants and learning guides. Open webinar for mentors to evaluate the teaching units.For education providers and multipliers: -Product III: Guide for implementing the modules by multipliers. -The final conference at the project end and dissemination events in the rest of partner countries."
