The proposed project aims to address the issues of handicrafts using recycled and local materials, with a focus on vocational training and strengthening the sector through the creation or reinforcement of businesses, with special emphasis on employability. In addition, it seeks to integrate these initiatives with tourism linked to the cultural heritage and artistic expression of communities and individuals.The project's specific objectives include:- Strengthening Articulation and Knowledge: Facilitating collaboration between professional trainers, entrepreneurs and companies in the tourism sector, promoting an integrated approach.- Training VET Trainers: Train trainers in key areas such as handicrafts, upcycling, cultural heritage and entrepreneurship, with a view to strengthening local skills.- Development and Testing of Vocational Training Proposal: Create and test an innovative training program, addressing upcycling and cultural heritage valorization to boost sustainable and local development.By fulfilling these objectives, the project aims not only to strengthen the sustainable crafts sector, but also to boost the economic and cultural development of the communities involved. Namely, the regions of Santa Maria da Feira (Portugal), the province of Luanda (Angola), Maputo (Mozambique), Bierzo (Spain) and São Vicente (Cape Verde).
