<< Objectives >>The Sound of Stories 2.0 project aims to enhance the literacy and vocabulary skills of pre and primary school students through soundscapes and audio stories. By engaging students in multisensory learning experiences that develop their listening, situational awareness, and storytelling abilities, we seek to strengthen their literacy proficiency. Additionally, the project aims to empower and assist teachers in adopting innovative teaching methods.<< Implementation >>We implement various activities to enhance literacy skills among pre and primary school learners through sound-based learning methods. These activities include developing pedagogical sequences and activity sheets, conducting implementation testing in classrooms, creating a comprehensive testing phase, and producing an implementation guide for educators. We are focused on gathering feedback from the target group to adapt our resources effectively and measure the project's success.<< Results >>The project aims to produce an online course and workshop plan to promote sound-based methods. A guide on Recording Standards will be developed to ensure the uniformity and quality of the sounds. The project seeks to compile a diverse Soundscape and Sound Library alongside Activity Sheets to facilitate practical learning. The Pedagogical Sequences and an Implementation Guide will provide educators valuable tools to integrate sound-based learning into their teaching practices.
