<< Background >>WEWON aimed to empower women in entrepreneurship and European project management, particularly women, in successful careers. While many EU project management training programs exist, they often focus on project management skills rather than entrepreneurial ones. VET organizations have the opportunity to contribute to reducing the gender gap but lack crucial data to adapt training programs to the needs of EU PM professionals. The proposal aimed to assist EU PM professionals in assessing competition, promoting their work, and strengthening entrepreneurial skills. Strict regulations on project management of funded projects led project coordinators to manage them with internal staff, causing professionals to struggle with career paths between self-employment and short-term contracts, often managing projects unofficially and lacking recognition for their work. The rising competition and stringent standards for EU project management made small organizations, facing language barriers and resource shortages, unlikely to access grants without external contractors. WEWON aimed to create new business models to assist local SMEs, third sector organizations, and public bodies in accessing EU funds.<< Objectives >>WEWON aimed to foster entrepreneurial mindset, critical thinking, and creativity in the labor market, particularly for women.
