<< Objectives >>The AIR project will design accessible and practical support strategies for university educators, alongside dedicated learning paths for students, By providing essential skills, innovative pedagogical approaches, and open-source Augmented and Immersive Reality solutions, the project aims to enhance teaching and learning experiences. These resources will enable the integration of Augmented and Immersive Reality technologies into existing courses, and academic projects.<< Implementation >>AIR will begin by analyzing existing applications of Augmented and Immersive Reality learning technologies in Higher Education to inform the development of: competence frameworks for students and educators, a continuous professional development program for teachers, and certified academic courses and learning modules. Additionally, to support content creation and accessibility, AIR will also provide a cost-effective tool for developing and experiencing A&IR educational content on mobile devices.<< Results >>AIR will develop certified A&IR courses which will be accessible through the IDEAL learning platform. A pilot testing with 60 university students engaged in collaborative, design-driven learning and research activities will be carried out. A group of 16 academic staff will receive training to become facilitators. The project is part of a University Alliance and other European networks, culminating in an international conference to showcase the results.
