<< Objectives >>This project's main objective is to conduct the very first research, mapping and the data collection on menstrual poverty in Slovakia and Czech Republic. Such data is currently lacking in both countries. Without this, we are unable to address the urgency of solving menstrual poverty, as none of the elected officials in either country has ever addressed this issue. Through publishing of the results we aim to push for stronger advocacy in this matter.<< Implementation >>This project focuses on conducting the research and the collection of relevant data on menstrual poverty in Slovakia and Czech Republic. The data will be both of qualitative and the quantitative character to ensure a relevant collection of the experiences on menstrual poverty by the most marginalized people in both countries. The publication will serve as a comprehensive and comparative analysis of research findings and collected data related to this pressing issue in both countries<< Results >>The results of this project aim to present a comprehensive and evidence-based resource for policymakers, educators, healthcare professionals, and advocacy groups, facilitating informed decision-making and policy formulation to combat menstrual poverty. At the same time it encourages cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange between Slovakia and the Czech Republic, promoting the sharing of best practices and coordinated efforts to address menstrual poverty effectively.
