Expert Guides of the Digital World

<< Background >>This project was applied for the purpose of increasing the cyber life skills of teachers and mediating their specialization in this field, guiding all target groups of the project, especially their students and institutions, thus instilling awareness and moving towards becoming a digital society.Target groups and indirect target groups through the activities carried out;The necessary knowledge, skills and training needs of the target groups and indirect target groups in areas such as digitalization, increasing literacy skills and technology usage skills, cyber security, cryptography, data-network security, malware, digital citizenship and footprint, cyberbullying, internet ethics and technology addiction were tried to be met at the maximum level. In addition to these needs, internationalization, increasing institutional capacities, developing collaborations with transnational institutions and colleagues, developing up-to-date and different education and training method techniques with digital transformation for production, networking, etc. have also been tried to be met.<< Objectives >>Teachers, the target group that can build the future of society by implementing the project;- To overcome their lack of necessary knowledge, skills and training in areas such as cyber security, cryptography, data-network security, malware, digital footprint, cyberbullying, internet ethics and technology addiction- Develop their digital skills- Understand the principles of digital citizenship- Gain basic coding and software skills- Use technology as a solution tool- To be information, technology and media literate- Grasp the awareness of EU citizenship- Integrating the principles of cyber life into educational environments and curricula- Providing students with the opportunity to learn in flexible learning environments- It is aimed to gain experience in the education process with effective-innovative-interdisciplinary methods.<< Implementation >>Within the scope of our project, 4 physical and 1 virtual mobility was planned. The first mobility of the project was realized virtually and in this virtual activity, the awareness levels of the target groups were increased by brainstorming about cyber security awareness of the target group teachers, cyber security systems and advanced data security.**In Portugal mobility, awareness raising activities were carried out on disinformation in the media. NGO visit was made. What needs to be done in order not to leave a digital footprint as an institution was determined in detail in the workshops.**In Italy mobility, Technology addiction, cyberbullying issues were covered and metaverse visits were made on these issues.**In Turkey mobility, the topics of conscious, safe internet use and app security were covered.**Cryptography and network technologies were covered in Germany mobility. Target groups gained skills to encrypt their files with cryptographic algorithms (blockchain, encryption, decryption, asymmetric encryption).<< Results >>The tangible results of the project were as follows:-“Cyber World Virtual Exhibition” was prepared with an online workshop.- An interactive website was created.- With teamwork, a sample cyber dictionary was created to be published on the project's interactive website.- Basic level Mobile App was created using App Inventor application- An e-book on “Safe internet in institutions” was prepared.- Created a basic level interactive learning module with Prezi web2.0 digital tool.- An educational video on the theme of “Cryptography awareness” was preparedAll concrete outputs prepared during the project process and their links were made freely and publicly available in the project annex, on the Erasmus+ Projects Results Platform and on the interactive website bearing the name of the project.Other Outcomes of the Project:Teachers, who had the opportunity to specialize thanks to the project, reached a level to guide all target groups of the project, especially their students and institutions. With the gains achieved, the quality of education of the project partners increased and contributed to the EU 2021-2027 education targets and the digitalization-digital transformation target included in the EU Digital Action Plan.
