Senior Synergy: Empowering Lifelong Learning and Healthy living through Community Events

<< Objectives >>SENSYN wants to: - bring together 4 transnational organizations to implement common activities for seniors - organize 4 large scale events (activation of 4x50 seniors)- deliver innovative training program for lifelong learning and healthy living - educate new senior trainers- implement the training into organizational structure of partners- offer new solutions (digital database, training program & toolkit) for activation of seniors- disseminate the importance of active aging in EU<< Implementation >>- project management - 4 meetings (HRx2, SIx2) - Digital database (innovative practices for lifelong learning and healthy living in EU)- Training program for seniors based on practical and theoretical activities for fostering lifelong learning and healthy living- piloting on national level (4x20 seniors)- Toolkit for trainers- Training the trainers (4x5 trainers)- organize 4 community events (Senioriade) lasting 2 days in partner countries - organize final multiplier event (Samobor) << Results >>-to provide teachers in adult education with an innovative program for activation of seniors beyond basic educational methods -to extend the educational offer of partners-to ensure proper training and tools to raise the knowledge on importance of lifelong learning and healthy living. -joint Cooperation letter to continue SenSyn activities (at least next 5 years)-project training materials available as Creative Commons and translated into English for exploitation on EU-level
