Community Responses to Extreme Environmental events and Climate change

<< Objectives >>Conduct a diagnosis of the vulnerabilities of schools in response to extreme climate events to support the production of educational resources and emergency plans.Conduct online training activities in a project/workshop format, promoting the exchange of experiences.Develop emergency plans and resources, validated through drills, to respond to extreme climate events.Involve the community and policymakers in the project to adopt preventive strategies.<< Implementation >>Activities of CREEC:Management: Coordination, monitoring, and transnational meetings;Educational: Diagnosis of school vulnerabilities and creation of digital educational resources for students and teachers;Training: Online capacity building and one in-person meeting for the exchange of experiences;Practical: Development of resources and emergency plans with drills and artistic performances;Dissemination: Sharing and awareness-raising at the school, national, and European levels.<< Results >>Increasing awareness through capacity building on climate resilience and impacts.
