"<< Background >>From previous collaborations in Erasmus+ projects (European Seniors Exchange, Remake the Story) we had established that certain population groups were falling by the wayside with increasing digitalization. We had already established this ourselves during our lessons to seniors in Ghent.A cooperation agreement was quickly found with a partner in Slovenia and Italy. With this project the three partners encouraged learning for adults and improved the accessibility of adult education. (35 persons in de EU, older then 75 have no access to digital modes or knowledge). In addition, all partners were also interested and competent in the themes of health, food and a better environment. That was the main reason for submitting our project and supporting our citizens in the digital revolution that was coming their way with simple and easily useable information (Tutorials, leaflets, videos).Participating in the digital society is not just one app or program. It's a stairway that, with the right help, lead to a great view of possibilities in our social society. Upgrade the digital skills and competencies, upgrade the green skills, upgrade the healthy digitalization, physical and mental. We worked out also a healthy part.<< Objectives >>A better lifestyle for all citizens, specially our EU seniors. As a result of the ever-increasing digitalization, a gap has arisen with certain population groups (lonely people, asylum seekers, seniors) who are at risk of falling by the wayside. With the help of simple and easy to use tutorials, leaflets and videos reach as many people as possible who can make good use of it. The visit to our website and the number of views of our videos on YouTube (some over 6600 views) prove this success to the fullest. Our goal was to provide assistance on a simple and useable way, to all those people who are having difficulties with digitalization. In addition, we also wanted to do something about avoid food waste, a better life through healthy food, better health. By planning and putting the skills of some specialists of our partner members to good use, we have fully succeeded in our objectives, even more then hoped for. The possibility of having specialists at our disposal brought the meetings to a higher scientific level. Very beneficial for us to achieve our goal, but to set it up in such way for the widest possible audience, simple, clear language and accessible to everyone.<< Implementation >>The most important pillars in our project were:- Upgrade the ICT skills and use of new ICT apps- Form or upgrade our Green skills (included avoid food waste, healthy food etc.)- To provide an overview of digitalization in the healthcare sector and the impact on the patients.- Social working, how can we fit the diverse results obtained into the social work of our partners? For all this, we made:We made leaflets to help performing basic ICT tasks. We made short written tutorials (Website) and also video tutorials (website and some 24 on YouTube). We organized help sessions on distance with our partners by using TeamViewer. We learned our partners to work with some ICT programs to develop good and proper videos like the app OBS Studio 30.2.3 and the Microsoft Clipchamp.Since the working language of this project was English, the personal knowledge of that language has also been greatly improved by all our members (green skills, ICT terms, health and medical terms).Culture was certainly not lacking. When you say Rome, you say culture and history, Ljubljana learned us a lot about social work and ICT origins, Ghent showed us the ""adoration of the Mystic Lamb"" and we were allowed to visit the beautiful town hall.<< Results >>The implementation of all pillars of the project were a great success. Some informative videos on YouTube have already reached a score of more than 6600 views. A total of 24 informative and training videos were posted on YouTube. The distribution of the leaflets at the airport of Brussels (train) and at the train station in Ghent (de lijn, NMBS) enjoyed a huge amount of attention.During the conversation lessons Dutch for foreigners, various tutorials were discussed with success and the leaflets were distributed among the learners, who made good use of it.Several apps for using healthy food and avoiding food waste have been demonstrated and also implemented with success in practice (such as Crowd farming with a farm in Italy and Germany, also ""Too Good Too Go"" with supermarkets and bakeries in Belgium). To keep our footprint small, traveling by plane was avoided as much as possible. That gave us the following result: As long you only travel trough two countries, that's a great idea (Slovenia - Italy)This is almost impossible in the case of traveling through more countries (Belgium to Slovenia and avoid Germany, very bad train experiences). An overview can be found on our website and project result: www.ahealthydigitaleurope.eu"
