<< Background >>We applied for this project to address the need for integrating digital transformation, environmental sustainability, and inclusion in adult education. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated digital education, revealing gaps in adapting platforms for learners with special needs and the environmental impact of digital tools. This project supported adult educators in adopting eco-friendly practices and making digital education more inclusive, offering self-assessment tools, accessible guides, and training materials via an open platform. It also enhanced educators' skills to deliver inclusive, eco-friendly education and strengthened the capacity of our partners to extend the project's impact through their networks. The project focused on addressing the exclusion of adults with special needs from education, offering practical solutions for inclusive digital teaching. By fostering collaboration between the environmental, adult education, and special needs sectors, we aimed to bridge gaps and build a network of skilled trainers for cross-sector knowledge sharing.<< Objectives >>The primary goal of this project was to enhance the environmental sustainability and accessibility of adult education. By building the capacity of adult educators, we aimed to equip them with tools to integrate sustainability and inclusion into their teaching, improving education quality and supporting learners with special needs in the digital environment. We also aimed to raise awareness of the importance of integrating environmental sustainability and social inclusion into adult education. By addressing these issues, we hoped to inspire educators and institutions to take actionable steps toward these global goals. Through training and accessible materials, we sought to empower educators to adopt eco-friendly and inclusive practices, particularly for learners with disabilities.Additionally, the project aimed to create a more inclusive learning environment by providing educators with guidance on effectively supporting learners with special needs, ensuring equal access to quality education for all learners, regardless of their backgrounds or challenges.<< Implementation >>During the project consortium implemented following activitites:•WP1 - partners ensured effective coordination and monitoring of the project.•WP2 - self-assessment tool was developed as an online questionnaire in all project languages, with results summarized in a report. •WP3 - green and accessible online platform for educators, along with guidelines on green and accessible practices, was created.•WP4 - training for trainers was held in Spain (15 participants), focusing on methodologies to enhance educators' capacities.
