Beyond lack of Understanding, Beyond disInformation

<< Objectives >>The project has the following goals: a) to understand how the functional skills (functional literacy) can impact on the capacity to recognize disinformation; b) to better know the functional vulnerability in order to reduce it; c) to improve the capabilities of staff in managing innovative educational tools, as the Eduverse; d) to elaborate innovative training modules to develop in Eduverse. << Implementation >>The topicality of the theme addressed by the project is treated through innovative tools and methods. A mutual learning and training activity between staff will be realized in order to improve the expertise an competences of the educators about the topic “functional literacy”. Innovative educational modules will be developed with the aim to support low-skilled adults in detecting disinformation and fake news. The educators will learn how to develop the educational modules in the “Eduverse”. << Results >>The educators involved will acquire knowledge and competences about the importance of functional literacy in detecting disinformation and will learn how to develop innovative educational methods using virtual spaces such as the Metaverse. Outcomes: Guidelines for educational modules development, Handbook for staff, Eduverse travel kit for staff.
