<< Objectives >>We want to improve the assessment practices for assessing people with a visual impairment and additional mental disorders. By sharing experiences and bringing together psychological, low vision (including ophthalmological) and daily functioning assessment we strive for a holistic, multidisciplinary consultation that will improve individual targeted care for people from this complex target group; in the end aiming at supporting or enhancing their societal participation. << Implementation >>In five transnational project meetings (all being a kind of symposia with workshops) several types of mental disorders, in combination with a visual impairment, will be discussed. Experiences, tools and practices will be exchanged and collected. This input will be tried out in practice afterwards and will be reflected upon at the next TPM. The Book of Good Assessment Practices will be shared and distributed as much as possible, aiming at enhancing assessment practices for our target group. << Results >>It is expected that assessment practices in all partner organisations will adapt to the newly shared information and experiences. Also outside the project partnership the collected presentations and materials will be shared though a digital Book of Good Assessment Practices, concerning concrete assessment tools as well as interdisciplinary consultation practices.
