APHIA: An Inclusive Plan of HR Experience for Individuals with Autism

<< Objectives >>APHIA is an initiative designed to create an inclusive HR experience for individuals with autism (IwA). Its primary objectivesare to increase awareness of autism, address unconscious bias within the workplace, and provide the necessary tools tosupport HR professionals. It seeks to facilitate social and physical environmental adjustments in the workplace toaccommodate IwA effectively. One of its fundamental principles is the active involvement of IwA in the planning andimplementation process.<< Implementation >>APHIA will leverage primary and secondary research to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape inpartner countries. Throughout the project's duration, the consortium will facilitate workshops and webinars to activelyinvolve all stakeholders in shaping the project's procedures and training materials. Ultimately, the project aims to develop atraining program and comprehensive guidelines, catering to a wider audience.<< Results >>APHIA is committed to delivering reports at both the national and consortium levels, curating a repository of best practices,conducting a series of informative webinars and inclusive workshops, and offering a comprehensive training program andguidelines that incorporate innovative tools for engaging with neurodiverse individuals. Ultimately, its goal is to promote theacknowledgment and visibility of neurodiverse individuals within the workplace.
