<< Objectives >>We strive to improve educational opportunities for blind and visually impaired students by developing three-dimensional tactile teaching aids. The project will be led by Center IRIS, which already has extensive experience in designing and producing tactile educational images. Recognizing the need for more advanced learning tools, we aim to expand our knowledge in the field of 3D printing to create a broader range of educational resources.<< Implementation >>We will design technically advanced three-dimensional tactile learning aids, conduct training for professionals from specialized institutions and experts in designing and using three-dimensional tactile educational tools, create a repository of open-access resources—including guidelines, three-dimensional models, and best practices—to ensure long-term accessibility and use, and strengthen collaboration between schools, universities, and experts.<< Results >>The project will enable the development of comprehensive three-dimensional learning kits that will enhance the educational experience of blind and visually impaired students. Teachers will receive three-dimensional tactile teaching aids and usage guidelines, contributing to more inclusive education in the long run. The project results will be widely accessible through the website and open resources, ensuring lasting benefits at the local, national, and European levels.
