"<< Background >>Young people are particularly susceptible to radicalisation and violent extremism, especially through online content, due to their extensive use of digital tools and platforms. At this critical stage in their development, they are building their identities, learning new skills, and forming their perspectives on the world. Exposure to violent or hate-driven content during this formative time poses significant risks.Recognising the challenges young people face in their communities and the digital landscape, the project partners analysed the current educational and interaction opportunities available. This analysis led them to collaborate on solutions that address these risks. The partners understand the long-term harm radicalisation can cause if left unchecked and are committed to providing proactive prevention measures.Through this project, we developed resources designed to support youth workers and educate young people. These tools aim to prevent radicalisation while promoting social inclusion and unity across Europe.<< Objectives >>Aim:Developing and strengthening capacities of youth workers and youngsters in preventing and combating radicalisation through development of educational methodologies and tools that support online and offline anti-radicalisation youth work.Specific objectives:•Raising awareness on negative impacts of radicalisation and educating young people (mainstream and marginalised) on anti-radicalisation through the development of inspiring handbook, toolkit, as well as the e-learning platform.•Empowering youth workers and improving knowledge management of our organisations in theory and practice for building competences of youth workers in prevention and combating radicalisation through the development of innovative curriculum and the e-learning course.•Exchange good practices and further develop effective partnership among partners from 6 European countries (and beyond) with different realities regarding education, awareness and practices on anti-radicalisation and its prevention among the community.<< Implementation >>-partnership meetings in (2 in-person meetings in Croatia and Italy and 16 online meetings)-Intellectual outputs: O1 Handbook, O2 Toolkit and O5 e-Learning platform for empowerment of youngsters in active citizenship and advocacy for prevention and combating anti-radicalisation; O3 Curriculum and O4 Online course for raising competences of youth workers and youth peer leaders in the topic, all translated in -1 mutual training of trainers-6 local trainings of trainers-4 national multiplier events-2 international multiplier events-additional dissemination activities within the larger networks and platforms of ours, as well as additional meetings with policymakers and local municipality offices for youth<< Results >>•Handbook on preventing and combating radicalisation among youngsters in Europe; in 7 languages.•Toolkit for empowering youngsters on advocacy for anti-radicalisation: Consists of theoretical guidance and 12 workshops to empower young people; in 7 languages.•The pilot phase involved more than 60 young people and 18 youth workers from partner organisations across all regions.•Curriculum ""Empowering youth workers for NFE for prevention and combating radicalisation among youth""; in 7 languages.•E-Learning Course aimed at training youth workers and peer leaders, providing accessible, flexible learning in anti-radicalisation; in 7 languages.•E-Learning Platform; with resources to facilitate interactive learning and collaboration.•Training of Trainers (Greece) for 16 youth workers to become trainers and multipliers in their local communities.•6 Local Training Courses reaching 53 youth workers across 6 countries to promote further education in their communities.•Multiplier Events: National conferences in Croatia, Italy, Serbia and Greece, reaching 92 participants; International conferences: in Belgium and Germany, with 63 participants from across Europe."
