"<< Background >>Three partner institutions: the ATEna Association from Poland, the Comune di Gradara from IT, and the NGO from BG, applied through the main coordinator for the project: ""Competent Staff for Adult Learners and Seniors,"" acronym COSTAS. Representatives and members of the above-mentioned institutions wanted to establish international cooperation, get to know each other and their methods, and exchange ideas and experiences.The needs of the participants and institutions were identified and discussed jointly before writing the final version of the application. The identified needs that the project sought to address included: improving the language skills of organization members; improving international project management skills; improving coaching skills, especially in the area of non-professional work with adults, including seniors, and exchanging experiences in this area; and acquiring new knowledge in three selected areas: social inclusion, cultural heritage, and ecology; and internationalization and promotion of the three institutions in the international community.<< Objectives >>The participants were set three goals for the project: strengthening and expanding the competencies of the partner institutions' staff, learning about and presenting the interesting work of individual partners in working with adults, including seniors, and, consequently, preparing new offerings for their audiences on topics related to ecological lifestyles, cultural heritage, and active aging. All institutions also aimed to internationalize their activities and increase their importance in local and international communities. Promotion and presentation of the regions from which the mobility participants came were also important. The planned goals outlined in the application were achieved.<< Implementation >>The completed activities: 3 international online meetings and 3 international face-to-face staff meetings involved in the project were conducted in accordance with a modified Gantt chart, with 1 additional international online meeting, April 3, 2025.Local working group meetings were held in each country,12 in Poland.3 international training meetings during mobility were developed in the areas of ecology, cultural heritage, and social inclusion and conducted during international mobility meetings–in accordance with a modified Gantt chart–detailed information, visit programs, and photo reports are available on the project website: https://stowarzyszenieatenagroup.wordpress.com/kompetentne-kadry-dla-doroslych-uczacych-sie-i-seniorow-costas/Training sessions were conducted for staff not participating in mobilities in each partner country, lasting 24 hours for each, totaling 72 hours. Pilot educational events for adult learners were developed and implemented in each partner country as a result of the completed mobilities–one event was planned in each country, a total of 3, and a total of 6 were completed.Evaluations of the initial competencies, the final evaluation,and the 3 mobilities were conducted.Promotion and dissemination.<< Results >>We are satisfied with the planned and implemented results, both hard and soft. Project participants increased their knowledge, developed their competencies, and gained new experience in the field of non-vocational education for adults, including seniors. The project has impacted three organizations, which will continue to collaborate on other activities and projects.
