<< Background >>The S2ET project fully aligns with the European Union's priority of combating climate change. It has offered our European electrician vocational sections, comprising 31 French and Romanian learners, a unique opportunity to become aware of the necessary changes in their professional practices. The objective was to integrate effective methods for reducing electrical energy waste into their daily work. Thanks to this initiative, these future professionals are transforming into eco-responsible European electricians, capable of designing and implementing energy-efficient installations. This project thus contributes to training a new generation of technicians committed to the energy transition and ready to meet tomorrow's environmental challenges.<< Objectives >>Our goal was to actively raise awareness and mobilize our future European electricians to face the crucial challenge of combating climate change, through collaborative transnational activities. We encouraged them to question the importance of electrical energy savings and their future role in this global environmental challenge.Through the eTwinning (eTw) platform and during international mobilities, our students collaborated to identify the most effective technologies and solutions to address immediate climate issues. They then helped promote these solutions at various exhibitions. The S2ET project also aimed to awaken our students to European citizenship, emphasizing the values of equality, freedom, and dignity, particularly in the context of the fight against climate change, in line with the European Commission's #GreenDeal. This shared value strengthens our unity in the face of current and future societal challenges. Thus, the S2ET project is fully aligned with the training of eco-responsible European electricians, prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.<< Implementation >>Activities implemented as part of our project:FR-RO Collaboration: Students participated in weekly eTw activities, including video conferences and various creative projects (puzzles, quizzes, logos, slogans, videos, exhibitions, ebooks), as well as practical work on EcoPower (EP) and renewable energy. Additionally, they produced 3 collaborative magazines, one for each mobility.During mobilities, learners conducted practical work focused on electricity transport, networks, and distribution. They also deepened their knowledge of EcoPower and photovoltaics. These experiences were enriched by meetings with EU electricians working in various sectors. In parallel, the project promoted civic engagement through visits to key institutions. Participants were able to discover the Ministry of Labor in Paris, the Senate in Bucharest, and had the opportunity to meet with the mayor of Saint-Martin-d'Hères (SMH).Future vision: Our ambition is to see these students become committed ambassadors in the coming years. We hope they will actively promote the EU Commission's #GREEN-DEAL for reduction by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2050.<< Results >>MAIN ACHIEVEMENTS• 6 EP didactic systems (2 FR-LPN, 2 FR-LPGP, 2 RO-CTE)• Educational video on electrician's tools (EN)• Ebook on electrician's tools (EN)• 3 digital books on mobilities available on: TwinSpace, school websites, E+ PRP• Charter of the eco-responsible EU electrician• Project logo and slogan• 2 EP exhibitions (LPN Cafeteria, CTE Laboratory Hall)• 2 Erasmus Days (LPN & LPGP Halls)RESULTS OBTAINED BY PARTICIPATING IN THIS EU PROJECT FOR LEARNERS• Innovative learning experience in vocational section• Enhanced self-esteem and motivation• Broadened cultural and professional horizons• Development of transversal skills• Active intercultural collaboration• Strengthened sense of belonging to the EUBENEFITS FOR TEACHERS• Exchange of good pedagogical practices• Enhanced cross-disciplinary teamwork• Improved school climateIMPACT ON VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING (VET)• Enhanced image of participating schools• Recognition as actors in international mobility
