Adapting Language Training Materials for better inclusion of LGBTQ+ and Trans students

<< Objectives >>This project aims to education our organisations about considerations for LGBTQ+ students in our classrooms, how we can better represent them and how we can adapt and develop materials to represent them in their learning environments.<< Implementation >>The project will involve :1.A review of existing teaching materials 2.Training and development workshops around LGBTQ+ and trans people, rights and recognitions3. Development of training materials to be used in the adult language learning classrooms (But adaptable and usable in other learning contexts)<< Results >>We expect our project to help 1. Promote understanding and provide education around LGBTQ+ and Trans communities, how they see themselves and how they would like to be seen. 2.The training workshops we record and share will be available for all organisations to review and learn from3. The worksheets we produce will be available to anyone working in the adult education language learning space but adaptable for trainers working with adults in any learning environment.
