Guide to easy and appealing online/digital education with marginalised youngsters

"<< Background >>Covid-19 had suddenly changed the methods of education and impacted the whole implementation of educational activities. Even though many organisations managed to easily switch to the online provision of educational services, there is still a big number of those that are experiencing challenges to fully switch and deliver their programme in an effective way as they did before the pandemic. Yet, they have to remain active and respond to their target groups’ needs. Additionally, there is a significant number of organisations and educational institutions that did not manage to survive the online way of working and therefore remained inactive during all this period. This also influenced the whole process of their projects implementation, the involvement of people in the programmes, as well as the further planning and initiating future projects. With our target groups of youngsters with marginalised backgrounds facing bigger challenges (than their mainstream peers) in the current realities and implications of the online/digital education, there was a need to further raise capacities of our youth workers to efficiently address those issues, in order to contribute to the more inclusive society in our communities. << Objectives >>Project objectives were:-To empower youth workers and improve knowledge management of our organisations in theory and practice for building competences of educators in online / digital non-formal education for marginalised youngsters, through innovative curriculum for youth workers’ training.-To empower marginalised youngsters for equal participation in online / digital NFE youth work through development of inspiring, innovative and up-to-date toolkit with workshops for beneficiaries and their parents.-To exchange good practices and further develop quality strategic partnership among partners from 3 European countries with different realities in regards to inclusion and online/digital education possibilities.<< Implementation >>M1 - kick-off meetingO1 Curriculum of the training course for youth workers “Easy and appealing online/digital education with marginalised youngsters”M2 - second meetingO2 Toolkit “Easy and appealing online/digital education for youth work with marginalised youngsters and their parents”E1 Open conference ""Guide to easy and appealing online/digital education with marginalised youngsters"" - ITE2 Open conference ""Guide to easy and appealing online/digital education with marginalised youngsters"" - PTE3 Open conference ""Guide to easy and appealing online/digital education with marginalised youngsters"" - RSM3 - Final evaluation meeting<< Results >>Two main results of the project are:-O1 Curriculum of the training course for youth workers “Easy and appealing online/digital education with marginalised youngsters”-O2 Toolkit “Easy and appealing online/digital education for youth work with marginalised youngsters and their parents”During the project, besides the developed intellectual outputs there were also following results:-18 multipliers from partner and associated organisations (youth workers, volunteers and management staff – 6 from each country) have been using our intellectual outputs in their work with at least 45 beneficiaries (15 per country) and testing their effectiveness locally both personal and on organisational level (related to the application of the outputs on our organisations’ procedures and practices when organising such education activities)-Over 82 local multipliers empowered in 3 countries (during the multiplier events) about the importance of quality and inclusive online NFE youth work with marginalised youth"
