<< Background >>The Green Mystery Guest project aims to introduce environmental sustainability indicators into the assessments offered by mystery guests in hospitality facilities. This need is part of a dynamic of modernization of VET centers and alignment with the European priorities of fighting climate change and the objectives of the European Green Deal. Historically, assessments carried out by mystery guests have mainly dealt with classic factors of customer satisfaction and did not evaluate elements of communication, motivation and sustainability. However, recent regulatory innovations in the field of promoting environmental sustainability such as the Green Claims Reform have led to greater attention to sustainability communication and the need to standardize these practices at European level, as some of them are still fragmented and not fully regulated. Green Mystery Guests aim to identify these factors through mystery guests assessments in order to identify real hotel practices for environmental sustainability from facade operations.<< Objectives >>The project objectives are:1. to increase the skills of mystery guests by integrating sustainability measurements in the tourism sector in their assessments2. to promote greater awareness of the role of sustainability in building corporate social reputation and customer satisfaction in order to promote the green transition in the tourism sectorThe project objectives are aligned with the priorities indicated and aimed at encouraging good practices for the sustainability of accommodation facilities and the development of digital tools for training hotel staff. Through the production of the project results we have promoted guidelines for the sustainability of accommodation facilities, and strengthened the capacity of VET centers to promote the green transition. The Green Mystery Guests will have used a flexible learning modality based on distance learning, accessible to everyone at any time via the official website of the project through the Online Course, to complement the course, we have created a dedicated micro-credential proposal.<< Implementation >>The Green Mystery Guest project was divided into 7 main activities1.
