<< Background >>The motivation was born from observing the needs of disadvantaged young people to develop life skills and to empower them to become fulfilled adults. Day after day, youth workers realize that the society is changing faster and faster. A more connected world is confusing digital progress and social changes. Until the 21st century, youth workers have been efficiently able to use methods that were born in the 1950s. With the democratization of the internet and the fall of the East bloc, society has changed radically and relations between individuals have metamorphosed. Internet was supposed to connect people together, though 86% of young people between 18 and 35 years-old feel lonely. This increase in the feeling of loneliness also comes with an increase in the distrust among individuals in the society. The project concerns the issue of life skills development for young people from vulnerable groups. Life skills education contributes to gender equality; democracy; active citizenship; the promotion of lifelong learning; quality of life; the promotion of peace. << Objectives >>The main aim is to enhance the capacity of the involved youth organisations to provide non-formal activities that foster the development of key competences and life skills for young people with fewer opportunities to contribute to their social inclusion, well-being and personal fulfilment and increase their employability. The specific objectives are: - Increase participating organisations competences to create tools and activities necessary for fostering key competences and life skills of youngsters with fewer opportunities for the specific context of the communities where they work in.-To create 12 innovative non-formal methodologies* for working with young people with fewer opportunities that develop their key competences and life skills and are tailored to their specific needs-To foster digital youth work cooperation and practices by developing a web platform that a) contains multi-media material related to each of the 12 newly developed methodologies and b) represents a space for networking, sharing and exchanging youth work practices for youth workers and youth organisations all over Europe-Train 12 youth workers of the 3 participating organisations in the implementation of the 12 innovative methodologies-Create<< Implementation >>We enhanced capacity of youth orgs to provide activities promoting key skills for disadvantaged youth. Improved orgs' competencies in creating tools and activities for youth development. Developed 12 innovative methodologies tailored to young people's needs. Created an electronic toolkit in Greek, French, Romanian, and English. Established a web platform for sharing resources and best practices in digital youth work. Trained youth workers on innovative methodologies. Formed a network of orgs working with vulnerable youth. Improved orgs' ability to design and manage European-level projects in youth work.<< Results >>The project enhanced youth organizations' capacity in supporting disadvantaged youth through 12 innovative non-formal methodologies developed collaboratively by partner organizations. These methodologies aimed to promote key competencies and life skills for vulnerable youth, detailed in an electronic toolkit available in four languages. The project also established a web platform for networking and sharing best practices in digital youth work. 13 informative videos where created to help and educate. Those videos are also available for people with visual impairments. Training sessions equipped youth workers to implement these methodologies effectively and facilitate the integration of new activities for vulnerable youth. Additionally, a network of organizations at the European level was formed to exchange knowledge and advance youth work practices, promoting the well-being and social inclusion of disadvantaged young people. These outputs significantly enhanced the capacity of organizations to support vulnerable youth and create positive change.
