European qualification reference framework for the electricity sector

<< Background >>The electricity sector in Europe, like many other craft sectors, faces many challenges:- shortage of qualified and competent workers in the national and European labor markets,- obstacles to the mobility of workers between regions and countries,- problems associated with workers without a diploma/qualification,- constantly evolving techniques and technologies, especially related to environmental and climate change challengesThe work on a harmonized European competence reference framework based on the EQF levels allows a betterassessment of the individual qualifications of workers in the different countries.
