<< Background >>The project was initiated to address a critical mismatch between the skills taught in VET institutions and the actual needs of the labour market, particularly in the field of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. Despite high demand and attractive salaries for ERP operators and developers—where top earners in Germany exceed €75,000 annually—VET students often lack access to structured ERP training due to limited curricula and insufficiently trained teachers. According to Eurostat and European Commission data, digital skills gaps persist across Europe, especially among marginalised youth and VET learners. In Turkey, the ERP market is growing at over 12% annually, yet companies struggle to find qualified staff. This project directly tackled these issues by equipping VET trainers with ERP competencies, enabling them to deliver relevant training aligned with business needs. It also supported curriculum innovation, improved employability for students, and fostered stronger links between education providers and industry. The partnership ensured sustainability through institutional integration of results and ongoing collaboration with ERP experts like Xient.<< Objectives >>The project aimed to address the growing demand for ERP software operators and programmers by equipping VET trainers with the necessary digital skills and pedagogical tools. By training 30 VET trainers through structured workshops, mobility, and SEO-based digital content, we enhanced their capacity to teach ERP systems effectively. This directly supports the Erasmus+ horizontal priority of digital transformation and the VET-specific priority of aligning education with labour market needs. The project also encouraged VET providers to integrate ERP tools into their curricula, ensuring long-term impact. Sustainability is ensured through open-access training materials, multilingual websites, and SEO training that enables partners to maintain visibility and update content post-funding. Employability of VET learners was improved by aligning their skills with a market projected to reach USD 90.63 billion by 2029. Inclusion was addressed by involving institutions with fewer opportunities, while green practices were embedded through paperless operations and virtual collaboration.<< Implementation >>We developed a comprehensive training structure on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for ICT VET trainers, aligned with the Erasmus+ priority of enhancing digital readiness in vocational education. The structure includes four detailed units covering ERP fundamentals, CRM, sales and marketing, and software development. To support digital learning, we created 16 SEO-optimised blog posts and a 39-page guideline for trainers. We piloted the training through hands-on workshops in Istanbul, engaging 45 teachers and 42 students, all receiving YouthPass certificates. A five-day mobility in Köln enabled nine ICT VET trainers to apply learning-by-doing methods in multinational teams and visit ERP-using companies, fostering cross-border cooperation. For dissemination, we launched a project website and active social media channels, publishing 30 posts and three newsletters to reach stakeholders across Europe. To enhance engagement and accessibility, we transformed training content into 19 educational songs in Turkish, English, and German. These activities directly supported VET educators and learners, especially from disadvantaged backgrounds, with sustainable outputs that remain accessible post-project via open resources.<< Results >>The project delivered strong results aligned with Erasmus+ priorities on digital transformation and adapting VET to labour market needs. We trained 45 VET teachers and 42 students through a pilot workshop in Istanbul, equipping them with ERP software skills. Nine ICT VET trainers joined a five-day mobility in Köln, gaining hands-on experience and Youthpass certification. We developed a complete ERP training structure with 15 units and produced 16 SEO-friendly blog posts as open-access learning resources. A 39-page guideline for ICT VET trainers was created to support long-term use. Project management tools included a Project Mapping Manual, Operational Management Manual, and Quality Assurance Plan. Dissemination efforts reached wide audiences through three multilingual websites, three social media channels, three newsletters, and national events. Sustainability is ensured through ongoing use of training materials by partners and integration of ERP content into VET curricula. The project directly supports digital upskilling in line with labour market demands.
