<< Objectives >>Building on the Fit for Digital Linguistic Education project, this new project aims to help language teachers (and others) develop their digital competences so that they are equipped to support learners in the post-Covid world. We aim to give teachers tools and skills to teach in new scenarios, such as hybrid classes and to use new technologies such as AI. We also want to help teachers promote digital resilience and to use digital tools to empower learners and promote accessibility and inclusion<< Implementation >>We will survey language teachers and learners to establish their needs, and will then work together using the particular expertise of each partner to create quality resources targeted to meet those needs. We will use formative feedback to improve results and check quality of products. We will follow a clearly structured work plan and budget, and will monitor progress through regular meetings. We will also work actively to disseminate project news and results so as to ensure a widespread impact. << Results >>A report on the current state of language teaching/needs in target areas will guide creation of other project results: an online self-study course for teachers to update their knowledge and digital competences; a game to help to help build digital resilience and improve digital literacy; and a video-based MOOC giving practical tips for using digital tools to empower learners and to promote inclusion. Outcome: teachers with improved skills, equipped to serve learners in the new digital world.
