<< Background >>The Alaric junior high school is a rural establishment located in the department of Aude, the second poorest department in France. The public served by this school is socially mixed but with a large proportion of disadvantaged students (45% of them are scholarship students). The number of students with special educational needs is higher than the national level. In order to react to this specificity, the teachers seek different solutions to help their pupils and to motivate them despite their social and intellectual low capacities. We answered to a real need for vocational training to be able to achieve this goal. We needed to develop our knowledge, our skills and the pedagogical tools that we used. These teachers’ needs were the consequences of our students’ needs. The children need new solutions to help them understand and develop their knowledges and we didn’t know how to do it. We are expecting from this Erasmus’ project to create a synergy between each member of the school, to open our mind, to find new pedagogical answers. We needed to open up to others et have the time to think all together in order to find answers to the European’s challenge of education.<< Objectives >>Our goals and priorities (transferable skills) : tackle the learning difficulties, the school dropout and the low knowledge of the basic skills. The three selected items should be the basis of our action : inclusion of the disabled students, continuing education programs for the teachers and pedagogical innovating solutions. In the 6 countries involved we wanted to achieve these following goals : • Train teachers by exchanging our efficient practices, with the help of the cognitive sciences, the digital tools, the environmental and artistic knowledges of each of us in order to improve teaching skills for our students. • Establish innovative and transferable practices in order to initiate a dynamic in the different institutions from each country. Enhance the initiative spirit in each teacher. • Create a sharing tool on the internet : Genially. With this tool we wish to disseminate our research findings and support the trainers, the teachers and school directors in their search for new pedagogical teaching skills.<< Implementation >>We have establish a global implementation for the 3 goals: • First of all training activities : 11 sessions and 14 conferences of educational experts during the 2 years, based on cognitive science and research. • Presentation of various educational activities by each teacher to the others partners, followed by putting into practice in our own classrooms. Than a comity will choose the innovating practices that worked (at least for one teacher) and will formalize in writing these practices. • The elaboration of a website containing a complete, interactive training and pedagogical resources. • The wider broadcasting possible of the different results of our project : meetings, trainings, forums, articles…All these activities were established during our mobilities which allowed us to cooperate, communicate, experiment and video conferencing between our mobilities in order to build and collectively define our innovating tools and experiments.<< Results >>The most concrete realization of our project is the website Genially that includes all our resources produced. https://view.genially.com/631a459aeec8f30011ced90e/interactive-content-pedagogie-active-et-inclusive-en-college • 123 downloaded learning files, most of the time illustrated, changeable and with sometimes videos • The different conferences followed by the teachers in French and English • The complete interactive training created by the Erasmus’ team. On top of this website we can be proud of some results : • 105 teachers participated to this project and have improve their knowledges • A wide communication of this project : more than 35 newspapers’ articles, 14 posters on the different walls of schools • The website has been visualized by more than a hundred persons • We have created a team dynamic that will lead to other etwinning projects, and students’ exchange projects that will start in September 2024.
