<< Background >>The partners involved in the Psycholog project applied for this initiative to address critical needs related to the mental health and well-being of refugees and asylum seekers. The project emerged from a collective recognition of the challenges faced by these vulnerable groups, particularly in the context of forced migration, trauma and the psychosocial impact of their experiences. The social and political landscape in partner countries reflects the increasing influx of refugees and asylum seekers, highlighting the urgent need for comprehensive mental health support. In addition to the ongoing challenges related to the usual influx of refugees and asylum seekers, the social and political landscape in partner countries has been significantly impacted by the recent Ukrainian refugee flow. Individuals fleeing conflict zones often experience severe traumas and stressors, including exposure to violence, displacement and the loss of loved ones. These traumatic events can significantly contribute to mental health challenges, necessitating immediate and sustained psychological support. The COVID-19 pandemic has further underscored the importance of digital platforms and tools in delivering mental health services. << Objectives >>1.1 Conducting a thorough needs analysis within the psychological counselling industry to identify the specific requirements and challenges faced when working with refugees and asylum seekers;1.2 Exploring the digital transition characteristics of the field, recognizing the evolving landscape influenced by technological advancements.2.1 Establishing an international network of professionals working with refugees in various organizations and countries to bridge geographical and organizational gaps;2.2 Facilitating collaboration and knowledge exchange among experts and professionals in the field of psychology.3.1 Creating a self-assessment tool designed to measure the knowledge and skills of experts in psychology when working with refugees and asylum seekers;3.2 Developing a comprehensive guide and exchanging platform for psychiatry industry professionals, including tips, recommendations and evaluation processes;3.3 Designing a training and therapy platform with practical tools, including a Chatbot, for sharing and disseminating among professionals in the EU.The development of digital tools aims to enhance the capabilities of experts and contribute to the digital transformation of the field.<< Implementation >>The project management and coordination activities (WP1) included organizing project meetings, preparing financial and risk management plans, creating infrastructure for communication and information sharing, ensuring the overall quality of the project and preparing reports. Tasks included preparing a dissemination plan, designing visual identity, creating communication packages, website and social media channel and assessing dissemination impact.<< Results >>Concrete outputs include the establishment of a steering committee, financial and risk management plans, a comprehensive guide for psychologists working with refugees, a web platform for online counselling and training and a variety of dissemination materials such as a dissemination plan, visual identity and communication packages. The guide, available in multiple formats and languages, serves as a tool for psychologists and sector professionals, addressing the needs of refugees. The web platform provides an interactive space for licensed sector staff, refugees and relevant institutions. The project demonstrated a clear impact on participants, improving the capacities of sector workers and creating new tools and platforms for organizations. The multicultural partnership facilitated the exchange of ideas and best practices.Dissemination efforts, including workshops, local events, social media campaigns, contributed to raising awareness about the project's results.
