<< Background >>For more details, please consult Annex: 360REWIN_ Final Report_Extended version (no..The project was designed to address the support needs of migrant women victims of gender-based violence. This group faces higher rates of violence and difficulties accessing resources due to their administrative status and diverse circumstances, despite the United Nations Global Compact on Refugees and the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration calling for specific attention. This underscores the importance of transnational collaboration in developing efficient training programs for future professionals who will support migrant women, particularly in social sciences and health. The focus on university students aims to go beyond incorporating relevant content into curricula, extending to outcomes valuable for professionals and migrant women victims of gender-based violence. The project leverages virtual training to disseminate courses, workshops, and best practice guides, promoting the self-determination of migrant women. Ensuring the project's sustainability is paramount to impacting the quality of life of migrant women, addressing their specific needs.<< Objectives >>The primary goal of the 360 REWIN project is to promote and develop specialized training programs for students in social sciences and health fields. These professionals are crucial for intervening with migrant women who are victims of gender-based violence, providing the appropriate care that addresses their most urgent needs. The specific objectives include:1.Training professionals to identify, support, and properly manage cases of gender-based violence in the migrant population, with a culturally sensitive approach.2.Developing digital tools that support various methodologies and adapt to the needs of target groups, including both professionals and migrant women.3.Creating a Virtual Learning Platform (VLP) to offer training and support services, including access adaptations and multiple languages.4.Providing guidelines and best practices to support immigrants in issues of violence and gender inequality.5.Promoting inclusive interventions to directly assist migrant women and their social and family environments through self-managed or professionally assisted training. These objectives aim to improve the inclusion of migrant women and the effectiveness of professionals in their support, using sustainable approaches.<< Implementation >>The project includes three specific activities, in addition to the main activities related to the development of project outcomes.Project Management The Project Coordinator is responsible for financial management, among other key tasks, ensuring transparency within the Consortium under the contractual framework and continuously monitoring external and internal risks that may directly affect our financial resources or the implementation and development of the project.Development of Project Outcomes To ensure a cross-cutting approach, part of the activities are developed through the project outcomes. The aim is to achieve results in learning and teaching activities (Toolkit), create service infrastructures (VLP), and promote decision-making through study and analysis (Best Practices and Guidelines).Dissemination Activities To increase the project's reach and impact, dissemination activities have been planned. These activities will not only communicate the project's progress but also facilitate the development of the necessary network to expand its reach. A specific project website is built and maintained, and the institutional networks of the project partners are leveraged. This allows for the easy and free provision of project tools and outcomes to other target groups.Quality Assurance and Evaluation of Outcomes Through evaluation activities, the project aims to measure its quality using metrics that facilitate the achievement of project objectives. Additionally, tools are developed to assess the understanding of the content and the level of support provided by the interventions carried out by professionals trained within the project framework.Multiplier EventsThe first event, “New teaching perspectives in the intervention with gender violence victims in high education curricula” is primarily aimed at educators in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Education, Audiovisual Communication, and Law, as well as related fields and practicing professionals. The main objective is to disseminate the results of Toolkit R1, in addition to providing feedback for the VLP and subjecting it to testing. The second event, “International conference on interventions for inclusion”, aims to raise awareness about conducting research and intervention projects on violence against women, as well as to disseminate the results of PR2 (VLP).<< Results >>The project is divided into three main Project Results, which respect and expand upon the commitments made in the proposal:PR1: Toolkit of Learning Materials, Services, and Tools Designed to support higher education training across various disciplines such as psychology, social education, nursing, and other related fields, with the aim of improving support for migrant women who are victims of gender-based violence. This resource seeks to enhance students' competencies and is developed through an in-depth needs analysis, including a thorough systematic review of scientific databases and interviews with migrant women and active professionals in the field.PR2: Virtual Learning Platform (VLP) A virtual environment is created to provide training, tools, and support resources tailored to the needs of victims. This VLP includes technology that allows for various access adaptations and supports multiple languages. The VLP translates and adapts all its content and activities into English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian, with automatic translation available for any language. Additionally, it features text-to-speech functions to accommodate students and participants with visual impairments or other needs. It primarily includes a comprehensive course for university students and active professionals (with different tracks depending on the field of study), another for teachers, and another for migrant women.PR3: Best Practices Guidelines and Report A report with guidelines and a collection of best practices and methodologies on how to support immigrants facing issues related to violence and gender inequality. These best practices are gathered from partner countries, incorporating experiences from activities that have proven effective and the experiences mobilized by the project: from interviews with women and professionals to the workshops conducted. The project is implemented through courses, elective subjects, and the adaptation of current content, using blended learning tools, resources, and methods specifically designed for university degrees.
