"<< Background >>This application was motivated by the desire of Filipa de Vilhena obtain EQAVET certification. On one hand, we’d like assistance from other European partners who, in some way, had a connection with VET. On the other hand, we aimed to use our experience to help others with the certification process, sharing tools and procedures that we’ve implemented. For that was important to understand the dynamics use by certified schools, that is why we invited IPSSEOA Pietro Piazza. It was also important to understand the needs of universities (University of Crete) and the needs of employing institutions (AGIFODENT). Together, with the help of external specialists, we discussed the state of the art regarding VET globally, using the Q Methodology in five dimensions: VET importance; Socio-cultural training; Scientific training; technological training; Quality, Certification and EQAVET. Also, we’ve work on educational skills for the 21st century training teachers to prepare learners for life and work in the 21st century using the dimensions: Knowledge construction; Collaboration; Real-world problem solving and innovation; Skilled communication; Self-regulation and Information and communications technology (ICT) for learning.<< Objectives >>In the project application, we presented six objectives that we considered to have been achieved:Contribute to enhancing the attractiveness and excellence of VET.Foster the alignment of VET with market needs.Create simplified instruments for evaluating the quality of VET.Contribute to simplified access to EQAVET certification.-Through the reflection on VET, using an adapted and simplified version of the Q methodology, we’re able to assess the perception of the selected dimensions within the aim of this study. We gathered experts from the partner countries to analyze their perception. These experts were chosen to meet the needs related to EQAVET certification, including students, alumni, teachers, companies, and universities.Promote active learning through the sharing of best practices. The EQAVET Guide for Dummies, available on the project's website, aims to demystify and clarify some of the procedures associated with the complex and bureaucratic certification process.Encourage the acquisition of skills for 21st-century education. The training session organized by Filipa de Vilhena aimed to prepare teachers for the Microsoft Educator Certification exam.<< Implementation >>All proposed activities were successfully implemented.
