<< Background >>As organizations focused on the well-being of seniors, we recognize the potential of digital technologies to address issues like isolation, seeking help via digital tools, and enabling communication. For these and other reasons, we decided to apply to this project, helping adult educators to empower older people. The needs that we have addressed during this project have been:Integration and creation of new innovative practices of digital pedagogy adapted to senior learnersThe need to reinvent teaching methods for adult learners adapted to digital changeThe need to develop digital training tools in our partner organizationsCreation of an international network and ability to work transnationallyWhile addressing these needs, we have managed to detect new trends and tools especially through the delivery of training sessions with adult educators.Within this project we asked adult educators what they needed to facilitate digital training for the elderly and the needs most shared by these professionals have been:Easier and more accessible technologies.Training in digital skills.Technologies that can be used in cooperation with the senior public.<< Objectives >>The objectives achieved throughout the project are those outlined in the proposal, namely:Promote the exchange of Good Practices and work methodologiesEmpower facilitators and educators on how to promote digital skillsIntroduce and reflect on the design of non-formal education for older people.Explore different digital tools for the design of educational opportunities for older people.Deepen the needs and potential of the older adult population in terms of digital literacy.Give opportunity for adult educators to participate in a transnational educational exchangeFinally, we have designed and developed a MOOC that addresses each of these items because all of them have been taken into account in the daily work of the organizations that are part of this project. In the training sessions adult educators were asked about their needs and the tools that could improve their work. This feedback was useful to design a MOOC completely adapted to them.In addition, after creating the MOOC, we developed Local Workshops where we could collect feedback that could also be added to the MOOC in order to improve it. << Implementation >>The following activities were implemented:3 transnational trainings in different countries that addressed different issues of digital technology innovation in +65 teaching.2 project management meetings to deepen processes and skills to be able to work transnationally.Development of local workshops for multipliers (approx 1-2 per country) that trained adult educators of local stakeholders on the results of the project.A MOOC as the main result of the project that is open access for future adult educators. We have taken advantage of the knowledge and experience of partners to complement each other, exchange methodologies and expand our educational offer and staff skills. << Results >>The results of the projects have been the result of the exchange of good practices and work methodologies between the project partners. These results are:Empowerment of adult educators and updating of their knowledge in digital tools applied to work.Design of a complete, updated and versatile transnational MOOC.Learn more and better digital tools to make life easier for the elderly.Contribution to the design of a unique training at the European level made up of data collected from various EU countries.
