"<< Background >>We applied for this project because we aimed to provide women at risk with mindset techniques for a personal and professional fresh start. We opted to collaborate with women under 30, residing in precarious circumstances, to aid them in reclaiming self-belief and acknowledging their strengths, ultimately facilitating their societal reintegration. Our objective was to showcase their resilience and extend support in unearthing their passions, values, and objectives, while guiding them on sustaining commitment to these aspirations. We sought to grant them respite from their frequently arduous daily lives and establish a secure environment where they can comfortably engage in open discussions about their goals and aspirations with both trainers and women facing similar life situations.<< Objectives >>The overarching goal of the SHESTART project was to explore the potential of social and inclusive businesses as a means of including young women either in vulnerable situations or at risk.Specifically, the project aimed to:Facilitate the acquisition of skills among youth workers through peer-to-peer learning. The end result was that the non-profit organization possessed tools and techniques to transition into a social business. Additionally, FEMINDS acquired the ability to integrate social work with women at risk into their existing business model.Support the development of a mindset training program for vulnerable women. This program was focused on fostering encouragement, empowerment, and equipping women either in vulnerable situations or at risk with the necessary tools to overcome their pasts and to become conscious of their values and talents. Furthermore, the objective was to establish achievable goals for the future, enabling them to rise and succeed in new professional domains, thus enhancing their chances of securing employment. This was achieved by leveraging the complementary competencies of the project partners.<< Implementation >>1)International Train-the-Trainer course:Establishment of a joint staff training aiming at mutual learning and know-how transfer between organizations.2) National Workshops in Graz and Martinique:Each partner organization organized a set of complementary workshops as part of the ""8 weeks SHESTART national workshop series"" in which young vulnerable women from Graz and Martinique took part directly. 3) 5 Multilingual Webinars (EN, DE, FRA, ESP, IT):These webinars transfer the developed tools (Toolkit), methods and experiences (from the Train the Trainer Course in Martinique the national workshops in Graz and Martinique) with external partner organizations in the EU-network. 4) Final Event with certificate presentation at City Hall Graz:The Shestart team was presenting the project and its outcome. Furthermore, some of the participants were presenting their experience in participating of the project and their learning outcomes of the project to interested parties and general public. It fosters the networking at local, regional and national and it offers the opportunity to discover new opportunities within Erasmus+.5) End evaluation meeting in Graz6) Project-management, Meetings and Impact Measurement<< Results >>Within the Shestart project, not only were all project objectives achieved, but they were surpassed:1) All participating organizations shared and acquired new tools and methods to effectively engage with their respective target groups in the future.2) The collaboration among the three participating entities yielded Toolkits in 4 languages with 22 concrete mindset methods.3) The project's goals, techniques, outcomes, and the toolkit were disseminated through 4 webinars conducted in 4 different languages.4) The organization in Martinique acquired knowledge and methods to initiate the transformation of their NGO into a social business.5) The participants of the national workshops in Graz and Martinique (7 women in Graz and 6 women in Martinique) developed fortified mindsets, actively engaging with their self-worth, values, goals, and visions.6) The national workshops in Graz achieved remarkable success, prompting the social organization where some of the women were employed to express interest in a further collaboration and continuation of the workshops.
